Powerstroke T444E 1ENGINE OVERVIEW

The DI/T444E 7.3L turbo is the most popular diesel engine on the road today. RAMPTECH® 7.3L Turbo Engines are available for Ford and International T444E Series applications. Our Powerstroke engines are built specifically to your application specification.

The Powerstroke T444E is primarily used in the following applications:

  • E 350-450 from 1994 to end of OE 7.3 L production
  • F 250-550 from 1994 to end of OE 7.3 L production
  • International T444E from 1994 up production

DYNOMOMETER TESTING

All of RAMPTECH® Complete Drop-In Engines are 100% dyno tested prior to shipment. Computer controls ensure that each dyno test is conducted under standard, repeatable settings. Every engine is run through a warm up cycle, three separate loading segments simulating light, medium and heavy throttle conditions, maximum torque and horsepower tests, both high and low idle tests, and a black light leak detection test with dyed oil, coolant, and fuel.

WITH NEW OEM HEUI INJECTORS

Remanufactured injectors are one of the most common causes for fuel system failures in Powerstroke replacement engines. As a preventative measure and quality enhancement, RAMPTECH® engine builders always install new injectors on all 7.3L engines. These new injectors are purchased from the OE manufacturer and are improved with tungsten coated plungers, which is an improvement over versions used by the original OEM.
