ENGINE OVERVIEW
The RAMPTECH® Ford 6.8L Triton Engine is used in various GSE applications, the most common being cabin service and refueling vehicles. You can also find this engine in step van applications and other mid-sized commercial vehicles based on Ford chassis.

ABOUT THE ENGINE
- Minimize downtime by choosing a fully dressed engine. No need to waste time swapping components from the failed engine.
- Completely dyno tested based on OEM Ford specifications.
- Engine includes standard LTL freight and return core shipping.
DYNAMOMETER TESTING
All RAMPTECH® Complete Drop-In Engines are 100% dyno tested prior to shipment. Computer controls ensure that each dyno test is conducted under standard, repeatable conditions. Every engine is run through a warm up cycle. Then the engine is subjected to various loads at light, medium, and heavy throttle conditions. Maximum torque and horsepower tests are conducted to ensure maximum performance. Once completed, a leak detection test is performed using a black light with dyed oil, dyed coolant, and dyed fuel.
