SCUFF JACKETS

AVAILABLE IN FOUR DESIGNS TO PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT

Replaceable leno weave or open-braided scuffer jackets are used to protect the hose and extend the hose service life. Scuff Jackets provide a layer of protection to the hose as it is dragged across the tarmac between storage and the point of use. Without a Scuff Jacket, the hose cannot endure wear from constant usage.

50859 Lightweight Scuff Jacket

50859LW series is a leno weave scuff jacket with a light weight wearstrip. This product features a closely woven treated fabric cover and an abrasive resistant rubber wearstrip.

50859LWHV Lightweight HiVis Heavy Duty Scuff Jacket

50859LWHV series is the same leno weave scuff jacket as above with an added high visibility coating spiraled around the outer cover that provides easy visibility. This is designed to help deter trip hazards and equipment run-overs that could potentially destroy the hose.

50859HD Standard Heavy Duty Scuff Jacket

50859HD series is the long time industry standard scuff cover. It has the same basic construction as the rest of the 50859 line, but with a heavy duty extruded wearstrip.

1106BR Military Scuff Jacket

1106BR series features an open weaved synthetic yarn with extruded abrasion-resistant rubber vulcanized wearstrip. This product is predominate in military applications
